Magic 7

This topic is about the movie The Magic 7. Now the Magic 7 is an upcoming made for tv animation live action hybrid fantasy movie that has been in development hell since the 1990s.

Now this movie is said to have a stella cast including quite a few well known actors and actressess including Michael J. Fox, Jeremy Irons and James Earl Jones (Darth Vader for you Star Wars fans out there and Mufassa for those Disney fans).

Now two of the voice cast members are deceased but recorded the voice for their respective characters in the early 90's and those two are Madeline Kahn and John Candy.

Madeline Kahn's character is named Wastra, now I don't have any idea on what she looks like, but i'm guessing she must be some kind of sorceress. I'm guessing she looks like a cross between Malecifent from Sleeping Beauty and Queen Narrissa from Enchanted except that she probably isn't evil.

As for John Candy's character, I think that Smokestack Sam is either somekind of dragon or a cross between Genie from Aladdin and Sulley from Monsters Inc. Because that seems like the kind of character John would do the voice for considering he did work in animation before, he supplied some character voices in the animated sci fi film Heavy Metal, was the voice of Wilbur the albtratross in Rescuers Down Under and voiced himself in his own cartoon series Camp Candy. I also read somewhere that he was considered for the voice of Genie in Aladdin and coincidentally so was Steve Martin, and both of them were in Planes, Trains and Automobiles. He also recorded several voice drafts for a character in Pocahontas - a turkey named Redfeather to be exact. Now Redfeather was supposed to be Pocahontas's sidekick and the comic relief. But when he died, the character got removed and replaced with Meeko and Flit.

You can find a clip of a very early pencil test of the character Redfeather which also has Percy (Governor Ratcliffe's pet dog) talking as well. Many of the lines Redfeather says are taken from John's character in Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

Now if my estimations are correct, I think that John's voice may have been removed from the final cut of the movie The Magic 7 either that or the producers are planning on replacing him. If so, I hope that they get Tino Insana to voice the character as he is a John Candy soundalike, in fact quite a few of the characters he voices are a lot like JC, including Uncle Jojo in Pepper Ann, Pig from Back At The Barnyard, and Ted from Bobby's World. So naturally he would be the right choice to take over voice duties for that particular character. Also he could voice Chumsley the werejohncandy if i were to make my closet  monster stories into a tv series or movie.

A WereElvis Encounter

This is a magical yet true story of the first time I met a WereElvis and became one myself.

It was started one night at Camp Greenlake, i feared that my fascination with WereElvises would bring out the worst in people but the outlandish antics of the new kid made me look normal by comparison. I went to the woods to get some firewood- but then i heard a beautiful sound coming through the distance....it went like this...."Love me tender, Love me true...never let me go." I wondered where that sound was coming from....i followed some strange footprints all the way to the middle of the deep dark woods. There I saw a sign that said...."Danger. WereElvis terrority. Keep out!" , being interested in WereElvises i went into that part of the woods to see where that sound was coming from. I came to the end of the woods and i saw a terrifying but beautiful creature....it was part human part Elvis, i know what it was.....A WereElvis! I couldn't believe my eyes- i discovered an actual WereElvis living in our woods. I took a closer look- The WereElvis had thick black fur, bushy sideburns, a black nose, cute little fangs, bushy eyebrows, sharp claws, and beautiful red eyes. It looked and sounded just like Elvis himself, it was amazing- it even had Elvis's facial features and voice. It was like something out of a fairy tale. I could tell by the way it was howling at the moon that it was lonely and needed a friend, i befriended the WereElvis and later became a WereElvis myself. So that's the story of the camper who grew up to become a WereElvis!

I myself am a WereElvis but i'm not sure which kind I am. My brother tells me i'm like a Mountain WereElvis because I'm always saving people, he also says I could be a Greater WereElvis because of my noble all around good guy nature. I know i'm not a Dark WereElvis because well...those ones are usually pure evil and I'm not evil at all, i'm not a Giant WereElvis because i'm not particularly tall and imtimidating, I could be a Lesser WereElvis because of my heroic prince-like charm, i'm certainly not a Redneck WereElvis because those ones always play rough, i'm very intelligent and mysterious so I could be a Cosmic WereElvis, I'm not sure if i'm cool and powerful enough to be an Alternate Universe WereElvis. I'm not entirely sure. I mean my character in the Teenage WereElvis series is a rather heroic almost superhero like one he's either a Greater WereElvis, a Mountain one or a Lesser WereElvis. So I must be one of those then.

A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes

Today in the lab we are finishing the upgrades on our MechaGenie 5000 Wish Granting Unit. This machine is one that is capable of making any wish you make come true no matter how silly they are. There are several buttons on the control panel, the one that turns the machine on is a shiny gold one. Once the machine is turned out, a voice will say "Welcome. Please enter your wish!", all you have to do is type what your wish is on the main screen. The voice will then say..."Thank you. Your wish will be now be granted!" , then there will be a countdown followed by a big light display, and before you know it your wish will come true right before your eyes. It's that easy to use. This machine can do many different things but there are some wishes it cannot grant and they are: 1. Any wish that involves death or killing. This means you can't wish for someone you really hate to be killed. We can't be held responisble for anything like that. 2. Any wish involving love. So you can't wish for your crush to fall in love with you or anyone
else. We're not match makers you know. Love is something magic or technology cannot improve on. And 3. Any wish involving ressurection of the dead. This means you cannot wish for a deceased family member, pet, or famous celebrity to be brought back from the dead. It's not a pretty sight. Trust me, when someone used our Raise The Dead Kit to ressurect his dead hamster, we ended up with a George A. Romero zombie movie situation- it was a real nightmare to put up with- we had to call Bruce Campbell to help us fight them off (and believe me, he was a BIG help). We don't want another Zombie Apocolpyse. No matter how much you miss that old pet, family member or celebrity you must promise us that you WON'T wish to have their come back to life from the dead. We can't be held responsible for any damage caused by the undead, trust me, after the massive zombie attack that happened a while back we cannot afford to suffer through another one, trust me....Zombie John Candy was anything BUT jolly, Zombie Elvis was High Octane Nightmare Fuel, and Zombie Anna Nicole is a real maneater. So please, no wishing for someone to be brought back from the dead. Luckily for us we have Bruce Campbell's number on speed dial. So be careful what you wish for.
Magic wishes are a wonderful thing and so are dreams. But what are dreams exactly and what do they mean? Well... according to a song from Disney's Cinderella a dream is a wish your heart makes. And that is true. But what do dreams mean? Here to help us learn more about dreams is our friend the genie from Disney's animated comedy Aladdin. A genie is a magical being that lives in a lamp and grants wishes, this wacky blue genie was voiced by comedian Robin Williams and he sure knows a thing or two about magic. There are other Genie-like characters in pop culture too such as the character Jinji from Power Rangers Mystic Force (Jinji is a cat-like genie with magic powers) and Flabber the phasm from Big Bad Beetleborgs/Beetleborgs Metalix (however unlike the genie, Flabber spent all his years trapped in a pipe organ instead of a lamp). In fantasy stories it is believed that wishing upon a star or throwing a coin into a fountain are ways to make your dreams come true. Dreams have the power to take on a magical journey, to a place where everything you could ever want is right there waiting for you. There are two kinds of dreams, the good kind and then there's nightmares. Nightmares are really horrible dreams filled with fright. Nightmares may be scary but remember, when you're in a dream be it or a good one or a bad one you can do whatever you want. You have the power to control your own dreams, use your imagination- in dreams nothing is impossible. There are limitless oppotunies to be had in dreams, you can have whatever your heart desires. Ever wanted to fight crime with your favourite superhero? In dreams, it can happen. Just think about it and you'll be fighting alongside Superman, Batman, Spiderman or The Green Lantern in no time! Ever wanted to be rich, popular and famous? In dreams, it can happen. Just use your imagination and you'll be living in a palace and you'll have tons of fans in no time. Ever wanted to go on a treasure hunting adventure with Indiana Jones? Just say the word and you and Indy will be off on a fantastic adventure to discover the treasure of the lost tomb. Not only can you DO whatever you want in dreams, you can also BE whatever you want too. Ever wonder what it's like to be a cat? Use your imagination and viola....you're a cute little kitty cat! Ever wanted to be a superhero with amazing powers like flying, shapeshifting and heat vision? Just say the word and tada......you're a tall, strong, heroic superhero with amazing superpowers and a lantern jaw of justice. Ever wanted to be the next Elvis Presley? Put that imagination to good use and before you know it, you're Elvis baby, uh huh huh! Nothing is impossible in the dream realm. Me and my brother have invented a machine which enables us to record our own dreams and watch them in dvd format, it also comes with an early warning system that warns you of any nightmares that may be waiting to happen. We call it the Dream Weaver 6000. f
Here are some of the things the Dream Weaver 6000 does:
  • Deciphers your dreams and records them while you sleep. So you can watch them the next day in DVD format complete with special features including commentary.
  • Allows you to choose your own dreams. With the Dream Maker option you can choose your own dream and have it your way, with everything you've ever wanted in it. Has an exstensive selection of themes, music, people, objects, animals, and other items.
  • Has a "Nightmare" early warning system that warns you when you're about to have a bad dream. It also comes with a special glow in the dark dreamcatcher to catch nightmares in. You won't have to worry about bad dreams ever again.
  • Can be used during the day as well as at night. You can also use it with our Imagination Tank Machine to make your wildest dreams come true and to liven up a boring a day at work or school. It's great fun at parties.
  • Comes with "dream discs" , these disks are recorded dvds of your various different dreams, these are compatable with any kind of dvd playing device and on computers.
  • Special software which allows you to make your dreams into a tv show, cartoon or movie.
