I'd like to introduce you to two members of my closet monster gang, the picture below is done by a friend of mine on deviantart - his name is Blackbluedawg and he simply loves monsters.
The two characters you see here are Bunyip the super strong, highly intelligent blue koala-like creature and Presto the phasm (sort of a genie-like ghost). Bunyip is named after a character from an Australian children's book titled The Magic Pudding, the main character in the story is a koala named Bunyip Bluegum. In the movie adaptation of the story, the character is voiced by Geofrey Rush. Unlike the one from the story however, Bunyip of my closet monster gang has a British accent and in the movie is voiced by Eddie Izzard. Bunyip is super intelligent and his favourite things include drinking tea, reading fine literature, and playing chess.
This is a picture of Bunyip when he was little. Even as a joey he showed great sparks of intelligence, in fact he was the one of the first to graduate - and at such a young age too. His brother Sidney on the other hand was a bit of an idiot, but luckily a spell from Marty (one of Blackbluedawg's monsters) made him super intelligent.
