This is my latest story, it features a grinch tf and is sort of a homage to the first Darkman movie especially near the end. I hope you like it.
------------
Scientist Nathan Forester had always had a facination with monsters, the supernatural and the paranormal.
He had a group of monsters in his bedroom closet who served as his loyal guardians. His monster gang often fought off the enemies that he himself was too busy to deal with personally.
Of course monsters weren't the only thing Nathan liked, he also liked science, movies, animation and comics. His favourite movie stars were Bruce Campbell and Jim Carrey.
He loved all of Jim Carrey's movies but his particular favourite was The Grinch, as he had been facinated by the mysterious green, furry species known as Grinches and he himself had dreamed of becoming one for a long time.
Now to some it seemed crazy even bat shit insane that he would want to be a grinch like the one from the movie, in fact he had been ridiculed for this by practically all of his enemies including Rents the man who ran the website Slapstick Anarchy, Habermann and his cronies at Metokur.org and even Encyclopedia Dramatica.
But he paid no attention to them, as he was too busy doing some important research, he had done some extensive research on grinches and was working on a formula make himself become more grinch-like.
"It's almost finished." He exclaimed.
"It's lovely, Doc. But what does it do?" His friend Andria Kilgor asked.
"That's a good question Andria, and here is your answer. You see i have been facinated by grinches for a long time and have always dreamed of being one." He replied.
"That's great." She responded.
"You mean you don't think it's crazy or in the least bit insane?" He exclaimed.
"Of course not, it's wonderful. I never believe anything Rents, Habermann or Encyclopedia Dramatica says about you." She told him. "You're a charming, talented, wonderful man."
"Why thank you." He responded, smiling.
"You're quite welcome." She told him.
And with that Andria left as Nathan continued his work.
Nathan held the formula in his hand, and after just the right amount of grinch DNA to it, he took some sips of it.
After drinking it he found himself taking on more grinch-like characteristics each night, he became stronger, faster and increasingly stealthier and more grinch-like.
One night Andria found him in the lair, he was start to look more grinch-like by the second.
"Nathan!" She cried. "Is that you?"
"Yes, it is." He responded, his voice sounding deeper and more bestial.
"I want to take a look." She said. "You perfect the formula, it worked. It doesn't matter what they say about you."
He turned around, revealing that he was indeed becoming more grinch-like in appearance, green fur was growing on his hands and all over him, his feet had grown more grinch-like and had black claws on his toenails similar to the black clawed grinch-like nails he had on his hands, his hair was starting to turn a dark greenish colour and his eyes were glowing, eyebrows becoming similar to the grinch's eyebrows.
"Andria. Don't you think I told myself that? The formula worked, i'm finally getting to become more grinch-like, it's a dream come true for me. I love it, and i'm sure you would love me like this too inside and out. After I finished taking a few sips of the formula..i began to change. Now I have to conceal my identity" He told her, in a deeper more bestial voice. "But a funny thing happened, i'm slowly changing into an actual grinch - I can live with that, but i don't think anyone else can."
As Nathan walked out of the lair, Andria followed him and tried to comfort him. He left the lair.
"Nathan! Nathan!" She cried.
"Nathan is gone." He responded in a deeper more bestial voice, as he spoke he was starting to look more grinch-like, he was taller, wider, his ears were now pointed and covered with green fur, his facial features becoming slightly grinch-like as his nose began to push out into a more Grinch fashion, black, homid and great for tracking down enemies or sniffing for food, a grinch-like muzzle forming on his face.
And with that he rushed off at superhuman speed and disappeared into the crowd.
Andria ran through the crowd trying to find him, but to no avail, she couldn't find him anywhere.
"Nathan! Nathan!" She called out. "Nathan!"
She looked around some more but alas she could not find him for he had disappeared into the crowd.
"I am a man and I am a grinch. I am everywhere, and nowhere." He said in a deeper more bestial voice. "Call me....Grinchman".
He gave one last farewell glance towards Andria, his eyes glowing an eerie yellowish colour as his grinch-like muzzle finished forming.
And with that he slunk off into the night, and Andria sobbed because she knew she probably wouldn't see him again. But he did visit her from time to time, mainly at night.
The end

David Cronenberg: Evil genius.
Our favourite film genres are sci fi, animation, comedy, fantasy and horror. One of the masters of the horror genre is a Canadian director named David Cronenberg. His films are famous for one thing: the recurring theme of body mutations (known to TVtropers as Body Horror). His movies are so delightfully squicky and yet interesting. Not many people can stomach David Cronenberg's movies except me and my brother. We love David Cronenberg's movies. Our favourite films of his are The Fly, Dead Zone, Videodrome, Scanners, Crash, and Existenz. The Fly is our number 1 favourite David Cronenberg movie. We loved Jeff Goldblum's character. Some people tell me i'm a lot like him, and it's true I am quite similar to Seth Brundle (for starts we've both been mutated into something completely different than normal, and we're both scientists) The most interestingg aspect about the movie is that some people view Seth Brundle's transformation into the human/fly hybrid creature Brundlefly as a metaphor for AIDS. My brother has a telepod like the one used in the movie, he lets me use it and he often uses it himself, on one occassion he actually reinacted the experiment from the film and ended up turning into some Brundlefly clone, it took a long time to figure how to change him back to normal but we managed to do it in the end. And the second time he gave it a test drive, he left one of our Buzz Lightyear action figures in the machine with him at the time, he ended up turning into a life sized version of the Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story films. It wasn't easy finding a way to change him back but I eventually found away- most of him is pretty much back to normal now- well...except for the wings sticking out of his back (luckily they are retractable). And the explanination as to why I turned evil during my stay on Amirgiht in early 2008....somehow our neighbour's mean spirited cat Damien got into the telepod while I was in it, it was silly of me not to notice that- although it's not at all suprising considering that cat is a feline from hell, always demolishing anything he can get his paws on, always slaughtering innocent birds and bringing their dead bodies into the house, doesn't trust anyone not even his owner, he's an absolute monster. He scratched my brother's leg at least 5 times, and not to mention he almost attacked me once. That cat is our public enemy 1#. He's also a master of deceit and trickery, he pretends to be all innocent and cute but when you least expect it...he strikes like a demon in the night. He is a black cat with bright yellow eyes and a collar with a skull on it. If you see that cat, run like hell.

The telepod can be seen in the David Cronenberg wing of our interactive museum. Be warned though, the David Cronenberg wing is only for the truly daring. If you're really brave, then perhaps the Squickatorium attraction will be just up your alley, the squickatorium is a ride where you get to experience first hand the squickness of David Cronenberg's films such as The Fly, Videodrome, Scanners, Dead Zone, Existenz and Crash- ride it, if you dare.

The Fly
One of our favourite directors is David Cronenberg. We especially love Videodrome, Scanners, Existenz, Dead Zone, Crash, and The Fly. The Fly is our absolute favourite of those films. If you were born in 1950 you might recall the original version with the infamous scene where the scientist ends up with his head on a fly's body and is about to eaten by a spider and cries out "Help me!" in a tiny voice. But if you're an 80's fanatic like me then you might be more familiar with David Cronenberg's remake. It's like the original one except it's different, Jeff Goldblum doesn't end up with his head on a fly's body oh no- it's much worse he ends up turning into a really grotesque hybrid of human and fly. One crucial element that David Cronenberg never forgets to add in his movies is horrific transformations involving the body changing in really horrible ways (this type of transformation is known as either a Painful Transformation or Transformation Trauma, and is full of Body Horror).
It may have given quite a lot of viewers nightmares and Squicked them out, but it kind of inspired us. My brother owns a teleportation pod like the one Jeff has in the movie, and he actually lets me use it. Although my brother himself got the insane idea to recreate Jeff's experiment from the film and ended up turning into a clone of BrundleFly. It took four and a half weeks to figure out how to change him back into himself. The Fly has been satirised numerous times. On one episode of Beetleborgs, Flabber brings a sketch of a teleportation device to life with his magic and gives it a test run, a fly-like monster named Kombat Gnat (who has a lot of razor sharp teeth and the ability to shrink) gets into the machine, their dna gets merged together and Flabber ends up turning into it like Jeff Goldblum in the movie. However he gets turned back to normal in the end.
Some of our work feature a homage to The Fly. One of which is the episode of The Misadventures Of Doc M where I test out my brother's teleportation device and Chumsley the werejohncandy accidentally falls into the machine, our dna gets merged together and I end up slowly changing into Chumsley. It also happened to my brother one time, my brother was testing it out for the first time, just as soon as the machine starts the sequence he realises that his Buzz Lightyear action figure is in the machine with him and he ended up turning into a life sized Buzz Lightyear. It took a long time to figure out a way to change him back to normal in the end but luckily I found a way to do it. We turned most of him back to normal, except when he came out he still had the "wings" sticking out of his back (and he still does).
These are pictures of Flabber's transformation into Kombat Knat in the Beetleborgs episode Buggin Out.
