Getting Grinchy With It

Contrary to what you have read on Metokur.org and Encyclopedia Dramatica i am most deffinately NOT a werejohncandy,    I am most certainly a weregrinch -  and a damm fine one at that.

I've always admired grinches,   they have so many admirable traits,  for one thing they are super strong -  and very sly and stealthy not to mention very intelligent,   I've also known that they're existed long before the book How The Grinch Stole Christmas was even written - in fact they've been around for centuries.

It is a little known fact that my father is one,   he can shift between human and grinch form at will though -  his human form looks sort of like Bruce Campbell -    it was never revealed though that is until BCRE8TVE on Deviantart posted his story The Grinch Who Stole Her Heart for the Metamorphosis Group We Will Transform You project (you'd love it,  lots of transformation themed stories, art, photomanips and comics)  and it was a lovely story that not only featured me and several of my friends but also had me turning into a grinch which was pretty awesome as i've always wanted to be one,   and also my mother had a very vital part in the story as well.

I've always wanted to be a grinch,  ever since I saw the live action movie adaptation of How The Grinch Stole Christmas with Jim Carrey in it,   mind you it was a brilliant movie -  and the makeup effects were amazing.      Now that I am a weregrinch,  that dream of mine has finally come true.

So don't pay any attention to Encyclopedia Dramatica and Metokur.org,   I am a weregrinch - and a damm fine one at that.

Oh,  and if anyone from either one of those sites comes on here -  there will be trouble and I will show no mercy.

As i'm sure you know,   grinches are notoriously sly and clever - and they're masters of disguise - in fact the number of people who are actually grinches in disguise gets bigger each and every year.  Grinches are pretty dangerous -  and not to mention have super strength,  that is why it is wise never to make a grinch mad -  they can transform humans into their kind in quite a few unique ways - one of which is by scratching them with their claws.      They can also transform people with their breath just like the Grand Duke from the film Rock A Doodle.

I've written quite a lot grinch transformation stories - using the movie version of the Grinch of course -  and they're in my Deviantart gallery as one of the many literature pieces.    I also read one which is a cross over between How The Grinch Stole Christmas and Horton Hears A Who,  which has Mayor McDodd get turned into a Grinch after recieving a curse from the mean one himself.    I heavily reccomend reading it.

I'm not in weregrinch form just yet,  even though I may be starting to transform - i'm not entirely sure.  I'm pretty sure that i'm either in human form right now or starting to transform already.   I can never tell.

They say it's not easy being green,  but I digress - I think it is rather easy being green.

Grinchman

This is my latest story,  it features a grinch tf and is sort of a homage to the first Darkman movie especially near the end.  I hope you like it.

------------

Scientist Nathan Forester had always had a facination with monsters, the supernatural and the paranormal.

He had a group of monsters in his bedroom closet who served as his loyal guardians. His monster gang often fought off the enemies that he himself was too busy to deal with personally.

Of course monsters weren't the only thing Nathan liked, he also liked science, movies, animation and comics. His favourite movie stars were Bruce Campbell and Jim Carrey.

He loved all of Jim Carrey's movies but his particular favourite was The Grinch, as he had been facinated by the mysterious green, furry species known as Grinches and he himself had dreamed of becoming one for a long time.

Now to some it seemed crazy even bat shit insane that he would want to be a grinch like the one from the movie, in fact he had been ridiculed for this by practically all of his enemies including Rents the man who ran the website Slapstick Anarchy, Habermann and his cronies at Metokur.org and even Encyclopedia Dramatica.

But he paid no attention to them, as he was too busy doing some important research, he had done some extensive research on grinches and was working on a formula make himself become more grinch-like.

"It's almost finished." He exclaimed.

"It's lovely, Doc. But what does it do?" His friend Andria Kilgor asked.

"That's a good question Andria, and here is your answer. You see i have been facinated by grinches for a long time and have always dreamed of being one." He replied.

"That's great." She responded.

"You mean you don't think it's crazy or in the least bit insane?" He exclaimed.

"Of course not, it's wonderful. I never believe anything Rents, Habermann or Encyclopedia Dramatica says about you." She told him. "You're a charming, talented, wonderful man."

"Why thank you." He responded, smiling.

"You're quite welcome." She told him.

And with that Andria left as Nathan continued his work.

Nathan held the formula in his hand, and after just the right amount of grinch DNA to it, he took some sips of it.

After drinking it he found himself taking on more grinch-like characteristics each night, he became stronger, faster and increasingly stealthier and more grinch-like.

One night Andria found him in the lair, he was start to look more grinch-like by the second.

"Nathan!" She cried. "Is that you?"

"Yes, it is." He responded, his voice sounding deeper and more bestial.

"I want to take a look." She said. "You perfect the formula, it worked. It doesn't matter what they say about you."

He turned around, revealing that he was indeed becoming more grinch-like in appearance, green fur was growing on his hands and all over him, his feet had grown more grinch-like and had black claws on his toenails similar to the black clawed grinch-like nails he had on his hands, his hair was starting to turn a dark greenish colour and his eyes were glowing, eyebrows becoming similar to the grinch's eyebrows.

"Andria. Don't you think I told myself that? The formula worked, i'm finally getting to become more grinch-like, it's a dream come true for me. I love it, and i'm sure you would love me like this too inside and out. After I finished taking a few sips of the formula..i began to change. Now I have to conceal my identity" He told her, in a deeper more bestial voice. "But a funny thing happened, i'm slowly changing into an actual grinch - I can live with that, but i don't think anyone else can."

As Nathan walked out of the lair, Andria followed him and tried to comfort him. He left the lair.

"Nathan! Nathan!" She cried.

"Nathan is gone." He responded in a deeper more bestial voice, as he spoke he was starting to look more grinch-like, he was taller, wider, his ears were now pointed and covered with green fur, his facial features becoming slightly grinch-like as his nose began to push out into a more Grinch fashion, black, homid and great for tracking down enemies or sniffing for food, a grinch-like muzzle forming on his face.

And with that he rushed off at superhuman speed and disappeared into the crowd.

Andria ran through the crowd trying to find him, but to no avail, she couldn't find him anywhere.

"Nathan! Nathan!" She called out. "Nathan!"

She looked around some more but alas she could not find him for he had disappeared into the crowd.

"I am a man and I am a grinch. I am everywhere, and nowhere." He said in a deeper more bestial voice. "Call me....Grinchman".

He gave one last farewell glance towards Andria, his eyes glowing an eerie yellowish colour as his grinch-like muzzle finished forming.

And with that he slunk off into the night, and Andria sobbed because she knew she probably wouldn't see him again. But he did visit her from time to time, mainly at night.

The end

My grinchy origin

Yes,  it is a true I am a grinch.  I transform at night though. So does my father,  his human form resembles Bruce Campbell - i've only seen him in that form,  i have not yet seen him in his grinch form yet.

You see, my father Jack is quite a grouchy man – in fact he’s actually a grinch himself.  He and mother met in the street.

On the day she thought he was going to ask her for her hand in marriage, he told her his secret instead, that he is a grinch, existing for many years, roaming the earth, always unhappy, grumpy, and doing bad things out of anger. He saw her and knew it was her he was looking for all these years and his heart filled with love. And the two got married and lived happily for 4 years.

But there was a slight problem, being that grinches are notoriously grinchy – their aura affects those around them, and with two grinches life would become unbearably grumpy for both of them, A few years later after he told her he was a grinch, she told him she was pregnant with me.

Gradually the people around them grew more angry, until it was almost impossible to live. On that day, he decided to leave. When mom asked how she’d ever see him again. Just as he left he said…”My son will find me when the time comes” , as he turned green and disappeared into the night.

And that’s what happened.

Makeup magic

I love the makeup and special effects that goes into some horror, sci or fantasy movies. My favourite makeup artists are Rick Baker, Tom Savini and the late great Stan Winston.

I get this monthly magazine called Makeup Artist Magazine, it's a real top of the line magazine all about makeup in movies and tv shows and stuff like that. Other than me the only other people who have seen and read these are the makeup artists themselves.

The makeup for Michael Jackson's Ghosts was pretty damm awesome, especially the Mayor and Ghoul makeups (both for the Maestro AND the Mayor)

The mayor makeup was particuarly clever, you couldn't even tell it was really MJ under all that.

In fact on Agony Booth when they "reviewed" it they refered to the Mayor as Mayor Ebert because they thought he looked like film critic Roger Ebert (also possibly a nod to the fact there was a Mayor Ebert character in the 90's Godzilla movie, who coincidentally looked a lot like Roger Ebert).

And of course i do love The Grinch, it is one of my favourite Jim Carrey movies.

You can get a subscription to Makeup Artist Magazine here:

Closet monsters

Now you may not know this but there is a gang of monsters in my closet,  they are the closet monster gang and i'd like to take the time to introduce them to you.

Presto

Presto is a dark blue skinned phasm with brown hair and a goatee, he has magical powers and is the one in charge of the closet monster gang.

Ted

Ted is a Freddy Krueger-like character who likes to scare his victims in their dreams. He often wears a fedora hat, a striped sweater, and a clawed glove. He has a twisted sense of humour. He and Jasey often act like rivals but in actuality are best friends.

Grincherella

A female grinch with the ability to switch between her human and grinch forms at will. She is a lot like Demona from Gargoyles in terms of personality. In human form she resembles Carmen Electra, and in grinch form she kind of looks like that too except for the green fur, glowing yellow eyes, small fangs, sharp black claws and wild black hair. Her eyes often glow an eerie yellowish colour when she's mad. She's also able to turn humans into grinch-like creatures by scratching them with her claws.

Scare Bear

A possessed teddy bear. He may seem cute on the ouside but on the inside he's a cold blooded killer. He often carries around a butcher knife. He is yellow and brown, wears a blue t shirt and shorts, and a cap. He has sharp claws and fangs and tries to kill/maim anything that gets in his way.   He is a homage to Chucky from Child's Play.

Zombo

A wise cracking zombie who is always falling apart and resembles Griffin Dune in American Werewolf In London. He first met his future girlfriend Sarah at a screening of Dawn Of The Dead at the local graveyard drive-in.

Bunyip

A big blue super strong koala who is rather intelligent and has a faux British accent. He is very intelligent and likes drinking tea, playing chess, he is also a fan of Blackadder, Monty Python, and especially Whose Line Is It Anyway. He is also a fan of comedian Eddie Izzard.

Mitchell

A fellow spellcaster , he is a lot like Michael Jackson as the Maestro in Ghosts even resembles him, he has a number of supernatural powers including the ability to possess people by flying into them, he is often seen with an army of ghosts from the past. He can also turn into the Superghoul from the video - he can also possess people and turn them into a creature like that one as well.

Jasey

Jasey is a Jason voorhees-like character who wears a hockey mask. His favourite place to scare people is at a campsite. He doesn't talk much, and sometimes fights with Ted. In actuality he and Ted are best friends.

Jeff

Named after actor Jeff Goldblum, Jeff is a human/fly hybrid much like Brundlefly except he's much better looking and he has wings. He is kind of shy but loves comics especially Spiderman. He is a good friend of Sam Raimi and Stan Lee, despite his size he is actually super strong.

Edgar

Edgar was born in Halloweentown. He is a tim burtonesque creature, but in human form he kind of resembles Johnny Depp. He is quite mysterious and shy. Often plays poker with Beetlejuice and Jack Skellington. He is often seen playing Rock, Paper, Scissors with Edward Scissorhands but sometimes loses. His tim burtonesque creature form is rarely seen but it is said to be quite menaci

Jack

Named after Jack Nicholson, Jack is a werewolf just like Wolfie except he's more than a little insane. His mannerisms are also partially based on Jack Nicholson's including his accent and smile. His human form resembles Jack Torrance from The Shining and he has two different werewolf forms, one is an American Werewolf style werewolf and the other is similar to Jack Nicholson in the movie Wolf.

Bruce

The only member of the group who isn't a monster, he is second in command. He resembles the character Ash from the Evil Dead films and has his mannerisms too. Bruce has a chainsaw where his left arm should be although sometimes he has a mechanical hand and his trademark weapon is a 12 gauge remmington shotgun which he refers to as his "boomstick". He has god-like powers and is a demigod.

Sarah

She's a lot like the Corpse Bride, she later becomes Zombo's girlfriend. She's very elegant and polite. She and Zombo first met at a screening of Dawn Of The Dead.
Cleo

An egpytian mummy who is also royalty. She is a fashion expert and also quite smart and a good singer.
Sebastian

Sebastian is a devilishly charming demon who appears in the form of a handsome well dressed gentleman. He is very witty and quite intelligent. He is also an attourney. Sebastian is good at making deals and he knows how to close them too.

Don't be afraid,  for the most part they are all friendly except for Scare Bear.

Cable Guy poem

This is a poem based on one of my favourite films The Cable Guy starring Jim Carrey.

It's half past four in the afternoon.
I'm supposed to have my cable tv installed.
But where's the cable guy?
He better not be late..
There's a knocking at the door..
I think that must be him..

Finally he's arrived.
Seems like a nice guy..
Says his name is Chip..
His mannerisms are kind of strange..
And so is that lisp of his..

Sounds like he knows a lot about tv..
Says he's been raised by it.
He installs my free cable..
Says he wants me to be his friend..

But i am not to sure about this..
He does seem kind of strange..
But I guess he's nice..
He installed my free cable.

So I say why not?
So I pal around with him for a while..
Have a karoake party, take part in a joust.
My other friends think there's something spooky about him..
Is he demented or insane or is he just lonely?

Who knows...
But he sure creeps the hell out of me and my friends..
He hires some hooker to make out with me and takes a picture of it happening..
Then sends it to my girlfriend, who gets mighty pissed off..

Then he begins to take over my life..
He follows me around, stalking me in hopes that i'll be his pal.
My friend calls me in the middle of the night - they tell me the scary truth about him.
They say he got fired from the company because of his evil tendencies..
They say he's like a demon from hell..
They say I should baracade the doors and shut the windows..
So that he won't be able to get in..

I fall asleep in front of the tv while watching the trial of a former child star.
Chip appears in my nightmare - coming after me..
He tries to knock the door down several times..
Then when he succeeds he appears all spooky-like..
Growls and shouts..."I JUST WANT TO HANG OUT...NO BIG DEAAAAL!"
His eyes are an eerie glowing yellowish like those of a werewolf or grinch.
I run as fast as I can from him but he keeps chasing me like a savage beast..
And when I think i've lost him... he pounces on me like a tiger does to it's prey..
I wake up from this nightmare with a scream and a cold sweat..

My friends were right...
Chip isn't normal..
He's not like other cable guys at all..
He's insane, he's creepy, he's a down right psycho.
He is really really really sinister..
And his lisp sounds so creepy over the phone..

Whatever shall I do?
Wherever I go, he's always there..
He's always following me and stalking me..
He's like some kind of demon in the night..

Oh Chip, why do you do this to me?
Look, you're a cool guy and all
But I don't think I want you as a friend.
Please don't take it personally...
You just creep me out.
You're insane, you're deranged..
I don't think we can be friends..
So please just leave me alone..
We're not friends anymore..
Leave me be.

And who gave you the right to take over my life?
Who gave you the right to scare my friends?
Who gave you the right to take my girlfriend?
Who gave you the right to stalk me?

I don't understand it.

My friends were right when they warned me about you..
You're not normal, in fact you act like you're possessed.
They say that Chip is not as nice as he seems..
They warned me beware of that creepy cable guy..

And you are that creepy cable guy.

Chip, please leave me alone.

When Chip captures my girlfriend, that's crossing the line.
He takes it her to the radio tower.
When I get there...
I see that he's clearly lost it..
He's at his absolute worst..
He's evil alright.
I try to reason with him..
But he's just downright insane.

I tell him that he went too far and that i want him out of my life..
Chip gets emotional..
He then makes a sacrifice by jumping off the tower..
But he doesn't die..
In fact a helicopter rescues him..
The pilot says that it's okay and calls him his buddy..
He asks.."Am I really your buddy?"
The pilot says.."Sure".
And then Chip gives him a really devious evil look.

Is the terror over?
Not by a long shot.
So next time you want to have cable installed..
Don't call Chip..
If you do you'll regret it..
And you'll never live to see tommorow.
Beware of Chip Douglas.
Beware of the horror which he'll bring to your home.
That is the terror of the Cable Guy..
Beware.
The terror of the cable guy..
Beware of the cable guy..
Beware of Chip.

Be afraid, be very afraid.
Of the terror of the cable guy.
Be afraid, be very afraid.

New pictures

Here are some new photographs me and my brother have taken over the past week.

This first one is of a painting me, my brother and Heather worked on - it is titled Feelings and it is centered around ladybugs and emotions.    If you have a sharp eye,  you might recognise the one with the sleepy looking on its' face.

This is the Rotta the Huttlet backpack buddy from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars range of toys by Hasbro.

This one is of a bag of costume accessories and other items.   Also in the shot are a homemade Gremlins plushie of an original character my brother and i made up - her name is Matilda but she is nicknamed Killoala and a Jay Leno halloween mask which can be found on sites like brandsonsale.com.  We've got a real problem with pesky Conan supporters coming door-to-door to our place and handing out "I'm With Coco"  flyers and badges -  and if you've got the same problem than a Jay mask will be the perfect thing to scare them off.

And these are some of my dvds, games and cds.   Most of the ones you see there are Jim Carrey movies.

Grinchy weregrinch facts.

Grinchy facts:

  • A female weregrinch is sometimes refered to as a shegrinch. They look almost EXACTLY the same as a male weregrinch except they have a much longer mane, their eyes are kind of slitted like a cats (but they still retain the exact same colour the males have) and their lips are darker.
  • Weregrinches do not howl like werewolves do but they do roar, growl or on some occassions hiss like a vampire or werecat.
  • Most weregrinches are garbage gormands which means they eat trash, glass bottles and anything else that can be found at the dump- but this only applies to the more wild subtype. The more domesticated kind are quite fond of human food.
  • There are more than one species of grinch, there are other 10 different subspecies including weregrinch, vampire grinch, and even God Grinch.
  • Grinches in general are not good or evil but they are in fact neutral.
  • Contrary to what people believe, grinches are not at all stingy, mean or evil...they are actually quite charming, caring and likable.
  • Also contrary to what people believe, grinches are not all vicious or monster-like neither do they eat the flesh of innocent Whos or humans, they also don't have termite infested teeth nor do they do hate Christmas or any other holiday for that matter. Those are just rumours made up to scare people.
  • Grinches belong to the same family as the Yeti or Sasquatch. They also have a lot in common.
  • Although the most common place for most grinches to be spotted is usually in a cave up on a mountain, some more domesticated ones live in a forest or city.
  • Wild grinches also tend to be Chaotic Evil while the more domesticated ones are neutral but most of the time lawful good.

Weregrinch

On the night before Christmas, Jim starts to act more strangely than usually. He starts to become more than a little "grinchy" around this time of year. To make matters worse, it's a full moon night.

Jim and Jenny are having a Christmas eve dinner together when suddenly Jim starts to feel very strange and rushes off to the bathroom.

" I'm fine, i'm fine, i'm fine." Jim tries telling himself while looking in the mirror.
Then his mirror reflection jeers...."I don't think so. I just stole your girlfriend's christmas presents and cut down the tree with a chainsaw. Does that sound fine?" and chuckled evilly.
Jim looks to see that his hand is in "the claw" position from Liar Liar.

"What have you done with my haaaaaaaaaaaand?" Jim cries out.

Meanwhile Jenny is wondering why Jim's taking so long.

Jim looks in the mirror again just to see if Mirror Jim isn't there anymore, he sees his regular reflection in there but slowly it changes becoming more grinch-like, and pretty soon Jim starts experiencing the exact same thing.

First his eyes turn a yellowish colour, then a wicked Jack Nicholson-like cheshire cat smile appears on his face, he starts growling a little as well as developing quite a few grinchy characteristics as well as enhanced senses and super strength.

"Oh no. Not now. No!" he cries.

Then the changes continue as thick, lushious green fur starts slowly sprouting ALL OVER his body starting with his hands, his fingernails grow into long, black, sharp claws and his toenails do the same too.

"W-W-W-What's happening to me?" He cries.

Jim becomes even more grinch-like as the changes continue, this time the green fur sprouts on his face, he also develops very bushy eyebrows and his facial features become more grinch-like as a grinch-like muzzle starts to grow on his face- his nose turning black and moving upward. He starts becoming more and more grinch-like. He tries crying out for help but nothing happens.

And finallly Jim's changes finish off as his grinch-like muzzle finishes growing, his canine teeth become vamprish fangs, his hair grows longer and turns a dark green colour, his ears grow pointed and when the transformation is complete he is now the weregrinch.
Jim, now a weregrinch looks a like the grinch from the movie except he doesn't have the termite infested smile, his hair is longer and a dark greenish colour, he has much thicker fur, and he has his normal voice not the sean connery accent the one from the film has. He also still keeps his humanity while in grinch form and doesn't develop a taste for garbage or glass bottles but he does growl a little, but only when he's angry.
Jim in his new grinch-like form uses his super strength to break down the bathroom wall, goes outside and roars a loud, ferocious grinch-like roar at the moon.

"Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawr!"

Monster Maker

Growing up my brother's friend Dan loved watching horror movies. Much like Rick Baker, he is a makeup effects expert and he loves his job. He's done the makeup for our various tv shows and movies. He did the makeup for Leno. Which I thought was brilliant. I looked very convincing in the Jay Leno makeup, everyone mistook me for the real Jay. Stan Winston specialised in robots/aliens type makeup, Tom Savini specialises in all the gory type of makeup and Rick Baker specialises in creature/monster makeup (as well as the ocassion age makeup)- our friend Dan specialises in all 3 of those. We love the makeup effects Rick Baker did for American Werewolf In London, that werewolf transformation scene was pure gold and one that will never be surpassed, also the makeup used for the "not-quite-dead" zombified victims of the main character's "carnivorus nocturnal activities" looked pretty cool as well. My older brother got made up as the not-quite-dead but still deteorating zombified Jack (Griffin Dune's character) once. He really loved it. We also loved the makeup Rick Baker did for the Nutty Professor. Eddie Murphy must have had a LOT of fun playing all those different characters. the Tim Burton version of Planet Of The Apes was also awesome. The makeup effects he did for that film were wonderful. I did a couple of photomanips of ourselves as POTA style apes, I even did one of Andria. The makeup for Thriller was really good especially the zombies and werecat Michael. Also the alien makeup effects for Men In Black/Men In Black 2 were very good, I like the "Cornflake Head" alien from that movie, the makeup was very good- and also the "Three Eye Guy" alien was pretty cool too- but the "Bird people" makeup was excellent. Jack Nicholson looked pretty cool as a werewolf in Wolf. I've seen what Rick's makeup designs for the upcoming remake of The Wolfman look like, and I think they look amazing. We love the Grinch the most, because the makeup was incredible in that film- nearly everyone in the cast was made up as a citizen of Whoville and Jim Carrey's grinch makeup was stunning. Jim looked really convincing as the grinch. You couldn't tell it was him underneath all that fake latex skin, prosphetics and green dyed yak hair. You know since I first saw that film in theatres I had ALWAYS wanted to be a grinch like the one in the film. I sometimes make my character in some of our fanfiction and animation half grinch. I always model my anthrogrinch characters in Robin Grinch and the Mangrinch comic series (which is also a tv show, cartoon, and movie series) on the Jim Carrey version of the grinch. I myself am a weregrinch now and my grinch form looks a lot like the grinch from the film except for the teeth which have cute fangs instead of being termite infested, I have Jim Carrey's regular voice instead of the Sean Connery accent, and I don't develop a taste for garbage or glass bottles- I still eat human food when i'm in grinch form.

Other recalled toys

Here are some other recalled toys:

  • Monster Morpher 1.0- the original Monster Morpher toy, just like the original it had ALL of those available monster forms plus a few others including the Alien and Predator from Alien VS Predator, it worked just like the original, however something went wrong and the transformations into said monster form of choice were too scary, painful and traumatic- it got recalled after a friend of ours tested it out and underwent a painful transformation into Manbat from Batman. When we made the second one we toned all of the transformation sequences down so they wouldn't traumatise the user.
  • Marvin the Mushabelly Mutant- this was a rather freaky mushabelly space mutant that you could attach different parts to, made a vampire-like hisssing sound when you squeezed it's tummy, got recalled after one of it's extra heads started sprouting spider-like legs and walked away like in John Carpenter's the Thing.
  • Dead Ted the scare bear- the first ever Scare Bear, Dead Ted was a grey and black scare bear that looked kind of like one of the undead, had one eye that had popped out of it's socket, vampire-like fangs, claws, and various scars and bruises. Got recalled after it came to life and went on a zombie style rampage.
  • Magic Mirror Love Tester- this toy was a mirror, you press a button and it tells you how well your love life is on a scale from Lovelorn Loser to Absolute Dreamboat. Got recalled after one of them caused a couple to break up on valentine's day.
  • Jerkass Ladybug- one of the Not-So-Nice Ladybugs range of toys, this one often said rude and hurtful insults when you squeezed his hand. Got recalled after a friend of our dad's brought it into work and the toy insulted the poor guy's boss, the boss got so mad that he fired him for it.
  • Exploding Bob- this fun toy was one that exploded whenever you pressed a button on his platform. He was a little space alien dressed in a daredevil type costume. Got recalled after the toy got set on fire.
  • Little Jay 1-0 - the original Jay Leno Playtime Friend, was just like the one we have now except for one small problem- it was evil. It kept staring at us with glowing red eyes and asking us to be it's friends, we had it recalled after it turned me into an evil wereleno as a result of me not agreeing to play with it.

Our favourite Jim Carrey performances

Our friend Darwin "Captain Comedy" Chance is a huge Jim Carrey fan and so are we. Jim's really good. We're going to tell you what our favourite performances of his are.

Our favourite comedic performances of Jim Carrey:

  • The Grinch (it's a great movie to watch at christmas time, plus Jim makes a great grinch)

  • Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events (he makes a fabulous Count Olaf, my mother can do a damm good impersonation of him you know, you must get this movie- it's genius)

  • Liar Liar (gotta love when he does "the claw")

  • The Mask (everything about it is great)

  • Ace Ventura 1 and 2# (Ace rules!)

  • Dumb and Dumber (This movie is hillarious)

  • Bruce Almighty (this movie is awesome)

  • Once Bitten (kick ass vampire comedy)

Our favourite non comedic performances of his:

  • The Truman Show (that's a very interesting film)

  • Man On The Moon (his Andy Kaufman is flawless)

  • The Number 23 (He's so dark and serious in this movie)

  • The Majetic (very good movie, it's also one of Chinstar's favourites because Bruce Campbell appears in it as well)

  • The Cable Guy (very good movie, it's also quite chilling)

A Monster Halloween

Halloween is our favourite holiday. We always have really spectacular halloween parties, with pyrotechnics and everything. Our friend Tyrone The Terrible happens to be superb at throwing halloween parties as well- he usually hosts them in some really scary places. He held one in an actual haunted house last year. John Landis showed up as a guest to our halloween bash last year. Me and my brother love testing out our Monster Morpher machine, which is a special machine that gives you the powers of any monster you choose, there is a wide selection of monsters and the cool thing is that you can actually morph INTO the monster you've chosen. Do not worry, the transformations are painless, instanteous, and there's no transformation trauma involved- and the Brundlefly morph isn't too bad either. Tyrone The Terrible happens to love Halloween as well, he has his own monster morpher device as well as a watch that can turn him into one of 10 Disney villains.

The machine has a wide selection of monsters to choose from. What you are about to see are two lists, one is the list of main monster forms and the other is a list of additional monster forms.

Main monster forms:

  • Teen wolf/Big wolf on campus style werewolf

  • Vampire

  • Wocka Wocka Werebear.

  • Frankensteinian thing.

  • Zombie/Deadite.

Rejected

A long while ago, me and my brother wrote a story for a transformation themed site called Doc's Lab (not to be confused with our lab of course). It was about a rockstar who turns into an antropomorphic Jim Carrey style grinch. We called it I Was A Rocking Weregrinch. After we finished typing the whole thing up we submitted to the website. Sadly, though it never got added to that big story list of theirs. So we assume it was rejected. We did a second one in a similar style except a little more light hearted, we called it Hollywood Grinch. It was about a star who gets a job performing as the grinch for the annual grinchmas celebration at universal studios- and ends up becoming a grinch himself (literally). This one also sadly got rejected, apparently those no talent losers at the Doc's Lab forum said it was too childish and that the main character was a "Marty Stu" type. They kept saying stuff like..."What, haven't you outgrown Dr Seuss yet?". Which if you ask me, was just plain insulting. They are wrong. The main character in the story is NOT a "Marty Stu" at all- he's a rich, mysterious Bruce Wayne type. The stories on Doc's Lab are good but some are just a little too rauncy for even my liking, and not to mention that some of the descriptions of the transformations are more than just a little graphic. There are a lot of good ones but there are some which really kind of turn me off and squick me out- and those ones are ones where innocent girls are turned into cows and ones where people become birds- I have an aversion to cows and birds. My mother HATES certain kinds of bird, one time during the summer we were in the backyard lying about, my mother was relaxing and this stupid bird comes flying by and sqwuarks at her twice, she then yells "Oh shut up bird!" and then swore at it. Bird tfs are absolutely the worst kind of animal tf there is, the beak growing part would be THE worst part of the thing- heck, I can't even describe how that part would go- just thinking about it makes me hurl. It would be like something out of Company Of Wolves (which is a brilliant werewolf film btw). Don't get me started on cow tfs, I have had an aversion to cows ever since I was forced to watch that Fingerprint Farm segment on Playdays when I was little. The damm cow from that segment always creeped me out and so did the owl- the owl was so spooky when it did it's "twit twoo toodleoo" hoot at the end of that segment. Cow tfs are horrible especially for the poor girl having to endure them. This is the precist reason why we DON'T do either one of those tfs. Heck, we stay away from hooved animals in general (except the moose of course, that's because weremoose is our close personal friend) and we steer clear from any birds. I guess those guys at Doc's Lab wanted something a bit more dark and edgy. We don't usually do stories like that. Sure we've done a few of those but those were just for a contest. We don't do dark and edgy- and I am no Tim Burton. We don't usually do ones with graphic transformation scenes in them-we've only do it once. But we DON'T do horrifying transformation scenes, I've only done it once but they're not as good as how David Cronenberg does them- and on a side note, I am no Seth Brundle/Brundlefly- even though people say I'm a lot like him.

Our grinch transformation stories can be seen in "Morphs, Legends, and Heroes" - a book compilation of short stories, poems and transcripts me and my friends have put together. It's quite an entertaining read. There's a couple of Millitary Koalas ones in there too including one my brother wrote which tell us about the origin of Andria's character Madonna. There's also one Chinstar wrote where his character teams up with Ash from the Evil Dead films. There's also quite a few about Chumsley in there. There's also a cute adventure story my brother wrote called Amiright Babies, it's kind of like Muppet Babies. And there's also a Rattastein Brothers short story we wrote.

Monster Morpher

My brother and I are upgrading one of our most well known inventions- the Monster Morpher. This machine is just like the Halloween Costume Morph O- Matic machine only better. The Halloween Costume Morph-O Matic machine is a special device which morphs you into whatever you are dressed as for Halloween- and it's not just for halloween- it can be used for all sorts of occassions that require you to wear a costume (my brother loves using it for sci fi conventions). The Monster Morpher morphs you into a monster of your choice, the selection of monster forms is extensive- there's a variety of different monsters to turn into.

Monster Morpher monster form selection:

Each of the monster forms have unique abilities, when you use the abilities of these monsters- you morph into a copy of one of these monsters.
  • Teen wolf/Big wolf on campus style werewolf
  • Vampire
  • Wocka Wocka Werebear.
  • Frankensteinian thing.
  • Zombie/Deadite.
  • Demon
  • Tim Burtonesque creature.
  • Brundlefly.
  • Swamp monster.
  • Muck monster.
  • Evil Ash.
  • Ash (Evil Dead movies)
  • Grim Reaper.
  • Terminator
  • Robocop
  • Freddy Krueger
  • Jason Voorhees
  • Chucky (Child's Play series)
  • Chestbuster alien
  • Grinch (Jim Carrey version)
  • The Mask
  • Cat creature
  • Human/reptile hybrid
  • Human/fish hybrid
  • King Kong
  • Godzilla
  • The following Star Wars alien species: Gungan, Wookie, Hutt, Toydarian, Ronto, Bothan, and Ewok.
  • Yeti
  • Sasquatch
  • Dragon

Most of the morphs are painless and instant. They're also great fun of all sorts of things including scaring people. My brother used it for a sci fi convention last year, he turned himself into a Wookie like Chewbacca and won first place in the costume contest. I love using it myself, especially on Halloween. We pulled off a great reinactment of scenes from the Evil Dead films and Army Of Darkness. Our good friend Sam Leno used the halloween costume o matic to become Ash and I used the monster morph to morph my brother into a Deadite, I used it to become Evil Ash.

This amazing device is also available in all stores including second hand stores. It's similar to the omntrix from Ben 10 except the insignia resembles a skull.

Jim Carrey photomanips

Our friend Darwin Chance aka Captain Comedy is a huge Jim Carrey fan and even looks like him. So we had some photomanips featuring Jim Carrey.
This first one is one we did of him as a monkey, we call this one the Monkey King. In Chinese myth and legends there is a heroic character who is part man part monkey- they call him the monkey king. This particular myth serves as the inspiration for the Sayain race from Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z/Dragon Ball GT.

This one is one we did of him as a werewolf- we call it Man's Best Friend.

This one is one we did of Ace Ventura as a cat and is titled Animal Ace Has Become. This was inspired by the song Animal I've Become by Three Days Grace. In one of our Ace Ventura fanfics- one titled Case Of The Fiesty Feline, Ace is asked to find a rich heiress's favourite pet cat. Ace gets a little more than he bargained for. My brother did a sketch of Ace Ventura rocking out to the song-and it gave me the inspiration for this piece.

This is one we call Down With The Sickness. It's a photomanip we did of our friend Darwin "Captain Comedy" Chance as a grinch. We went to Universal Studios in late 2000, we saw where they were filming How The Grinch Stole Christmas, we happened to meet Jim Carrey. Jim was in his grinch makeup which was pretty cool. Jim told us that his grinchishness is highly contagious- we weren't sure if he was joking or being serious when he said that. A couple of hours later, we see not one but two grinches- Jim AND our friend Darwin.

This one is called Green With Envy. Apparently Jim Carrey wasn't joking when he told us that his grinchishness is highly contageous. This photomanip is of me as a grinch.

Tyrone's New Assistant

Our friend Tyrone The Terrible has just set up his own Villains For Hire buisness. We decided to help him out a little. You see, even an evil genius gets lonely once and a while. So we used our Reality Warper 5000 machine to bring one of my brother's drawings to life: A female Jim Carrey style grinch named Grincherina, and here she is. She is also a character from Robin Grinch, one of our earlier shows. She's basically a green, furry Carmen Electra with a seductive personality and the moves of every Street Fighter character. She is Tyrone The Terrible's new assistant.

Jack Nicholson: The Joker's Wild.

We mentioned much earlier that our favourite comedian is John Candy. But there's one movie star we love even more...and that's Jack Nicholson. Jack's simply one of the best movie stars ever. He's such a jokester, he's a very wily devil and one hell of a guy. The trademark of his that most people reconise is his smile, his manic, sly, grinch-like smile. He's a manic madman and a lose cannon. You've got to love his insanity.

Our favourite films with him in are:
  • Batman.
  • The Shining
  • Wolf
  • Witches Of Eastwick.
  • Mars Attacks
  • A Few Good Men.
  • Easy Rider.
  • The Bucket List.
  • As Good as It Gets.
  • Anger Management.

  1. Anger Management.

We loved him as the Joker in Batman. I think he was great in that role, I know some people enjoyed Heath Ledger's performance in Dark Knight but the thing is, me and my brother are fans of the Tim Burton Batman movies. Tim Burton's Batman and Batman Returns were genius, Joel Schachuer's Batman Forever and Batman and Robin ruined the Batman franchise. We liked Batman Begins and Dark Knight though- Chris Nolan did a good job.

Facts about Jack:

  • He is the only actor to play the Joker in a live action adaptation of the Batman comics who is still alive. Heath Ledger and Caeser Romero are both dead.

  • When Danny DeVito came on board for the voice cast of Disney's animated adventure Hercules, the producers were having a tough time deciding on who should voice Hades, the god of the underworld. One day, Danny asked who the producers had in mind to play Hades. The prodoucers mumbled under their breath a bit, saying they hadn't yet come up with the right performer for the job. Danny DeVito (who provided the voice of Phil, the satyr) suggested "Why don't you ask Jack?". The very next week, Nicholson drove up to the Burbank lot. He brought along his daughter, Lorraine, who came dressed as Snow White. (When folks at the Mouse saw how Jack's little girl was dressed, they took it as a very good sign.) Musker and Clements -- along with several other top end Disney executives -- gave Jack and his daughter a full tour of the lot. They then took the two of them to lunch at the executive dining room in the Team Disney Building.
After lunch, everyone wandered over to Feature Animation -- where Ron and John made their pitch. They told Nicholson and his daughter the story of Disney's "Hercules," emphasizing Hades' central role in the proceedings. Jack was charmed by what he saw and seemed genuinely enthusiastic about taking part in the project. There was just one slight minor snag.
    Money.
Putting it simply, Nicholson wanted an obscene amount of money to play Hades. Disney was hoping to sign him for the part for $500,000, maybe as much as $1 million. Nicholson wanted something more along the lines of $10 - $15 million, plus a 50% cut of all the proceeds from Hades merchandise.
This may seem like an outrageous amount to ask for. But -- to Jack's way of thinking -- it wasn't unprecedented. He had asked for -- and received -- a similar deal from Warner Brothers 'way back in 1986, when he played the Joker in Tim Burton's "Batman." Since that film had grossed over $400 million, Warners had more than gotten its investment back in Jack. Plus Nicholson had made an absolute fortune off his share of the Joker merchandise. Some estimate that Jack's cut of the "Batman" merchandising bonanza eventually came to $50 million.
Nicholson knew that his star power would add considerably to "Hercules" box office potential. All that Jack asked was that he adequately compensated for his efforts.
It was a heart-breaking moment for Musker and Clements. They knew that Nicholson really wanted to be in "Hercules." They also knew that having Jack as the voice of Hades would do for this film what landing Robin Williams to play the Genie did for "Aladdin." That 1992 Disney film went on to gross $217 million domestically -- most of that just because people came out to see Williams in cartoon form. Audiences were sure to do the same for Jack -- which meant that "Hercules"'s domestic box office potential was almost unimaginable.
But Ron and John also knew that there was no way that Michael Eisner would ever okay giving Nicholson everything he asked for. Eisner might see his way clear to giving Jack $5 million or so to play Hades. But there was no way the Mouse would share 50% of the profits from the Hades merchandise with Nicholson. That condition was the deal-breaker.
After Disney came back with a counter offer that was significantly less than what he had asked for, Nicholson passed on the project. It was hard to tell who was more disappointed: Musker and Clements, or Jack's daughter, Lorraine. In the end, the part ended up being voiced by James Woods.

  • He auditioned for the role of Don Vito Corleone in The Godfather.

  • He was considered for the role of The Grinch in Ron Howard's live action adaptation of How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

We read on the internet movie database that he was considered to play the role of the title character in the feature film version of How The Grinch Stole Christmas. We've done quite a few photomanips of him as a Jim Carrey style anthro grinch.

This is the original photomanip of Jack Nicholson as a Grinch. The inspiration behind this was Scar from Disney's The Lion King. We gave it sort of a cat-like quality.

This is the alterate version of the first one. This one has a more demonic appeal to it. Inspired by Tim Curry as Darkness in the movie Legend.

Tbis is the second photomanip of Jack as a grinch. We gave him a more cartoon vampirish look. Inspired by the 80's horror flick Fright Night- in particular the scene where the main character's girlfriend turns into a rather crazy looking vampiress with some rather crazy looking teeth and fangs. One thing we didn't want to change was the teeth, because in the movie Jim Carrey's grinch has termites in his smile (as seen during the You're A Mean One Mr Grinch villain s0ng number), so with our Grinch version of Jack Nicholson we went with vampire style fangs instead. We didn't want to ruin his trademark smile.

This is the third one. We made it slightly zanier and more chaotic. Inspired by Judge Doom from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

This is the fourth one, we gave it the same feline quality we gave the original one. We even made the eyes kind of like cat eyes.

And this is the final one. We gave this one a sort of werewolfish looking. Inspired by the movie Wolf (in which he became a werewolf) and the tv series Big Wolf On Campus.
