Prologue

This is this prologue to Bruce VS The Weregrinch.  I hope you enjoy it.

---------

Our hero the ever heroic Bruce Campbell had just finished filming a scene from his latest piece.

"Well that wraps up another scene for the day." Bruce said as he packed up.

"You were wonderful Bruce, love the way you beat up those zombie pets." Jake complimented.

"Ah thanks. It was exausting. Well i'll better be heading home." He responded.

"But it's a long way back!" Todd exclaimed.

"Don't worry i'll take the ol shortcut through the dark spooky woods." Bruce assured him.

"But Bruce, it's dark in there and not to mention scary. There are monsters in there!" Adam told him.

"Uh hello? I battled an army of the undead, defeated both Freddy and Jason and fought off a bunch of superheroes turned zombies. I'm sure that whatever lurks in those woods is no big deal." Bruce quipped.

"Oh alright, but let us come with you!" Cara insisted.

"I can handle myself thank you Cara." Bruce responded.

"But Bruce, we're your friends and we don't want you to get eaten or anything." Cara told him. "Whatever is out there might be a hungry monster or something."

"Yeah...and maybe it will be one that has lots and lots of sharp teeth and likes to slash it's victims into pieces with it's terrible claws - then eat the remains for dinner." Brian added. "You should be afraid Bruce, be very afraid."

"Nah. I'm not afraid of anything!" Bruce quipped.

Meanwhile deep within the household of Miss Jenny McCarthy - her boyfriend Jim Carrey was in his "lair" concocting an evil scheme..

"Hmmm...he says he's not afraid of anything does he?" Jim sneered.

"Oh yes. I hear he's really brave - he's not afraid of anything. He's really heroic too, he fights off zombies and other forces of darkness. He's battled Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees at the same time and won!" Jenny replied.

"Really? Well....I've got a pretty scary suprise instore for him." Jim cooed.

"But Bruce isn't afraid of anything. You would have to be a werewolf or something in order to scare him." Jenny said.

"You've given me an idea." Jim replied, smirking.

"What kind of idea?" Jenny asked.

"A wonderful, awful idea.." Jim told her, smiling evilly.

"I see.." Jenny said as she left the room.

Jim looked out the window, the full moon was starting to rise...

"Perfect. It'ssss time!" Jim hissed.

He looked the window at the full moon and immediantley he began to change..

His eyes glow an eerie yellowish colour, his evil smirk changed into a creepy cheshire cat smile which revealed sharp fangs, green fur started sprouting all over him...

His fingernails and toenails grew into long black claws as more grinch-like characterstics and traits started to develop...

"Yeeees i can feeeeeel it, it feeeeeeeeeeels sooooooooo gooooooooooooooooood!" Jim exclaimed as his transformation progressed further..

His ears grew pointed, his hair grew long and wild, his eyebrows turned bushy and his nose turned black and moved upward as his features and characteristics became more grinch-like..

And when the transformation had completed, Jim was now a fully transformed weregrinch...

"Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawr! Now this is power! I loooooooooooooooove this!" Jim roared. "Wait till ol Brucey gets a load of me."

He then ran out into the forest - ready to wreak havoc on our hero ...
