Sounds like a great museum and amusement park, and better than Disneyland to boot. I assume it's in Burbank?
ReplyDeleteYep it's in Burbank. You can meet Chinstar and Tyrone The Terrible in the Super Hero wing. Jeff the fly man is modelled after Jeff Goldblum's character in The Fly. Morgoth is a No Celebrities Were Harmed Expy of Alice Cooper.
ReplyDeleteOh and every August we have an Elvis Week to commerate the anniversary of the death of the king of rock and roll just like at Graceland. Except ours is even bigger. For us it's that special time of year where Elvis's ghost visits, performs and gives presents to fans. The Elvis Ghost is created using state of the art special effects so it's kind of like a hologram only more realistic. There's also a fireworks display. My brother created the elvis ghost character, he was first used in one of our much earlier animated features, a fantasy film titled Mirror Mirror which was about an alternate universe located in a magic mirror.
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun. If Alan and I can find directions to your museum/amusement park, we might just go to your Elvis festival. Just look for me (My hairstyle has changed, as my profile picture shows) and a guy who looks like Dale from "King of the Hill" in the crowd and either a black Chevy van with front-end damage or a pristine bronze-colored Datsun 260Z "2+2" sports coupe, both with Washington plates, in the parking lot
ReplyDeleteWe've added a lot of new rides and attractions including a Michael Jackson tribute show in the masters of horror, fantasy, sci fi, and superhero wings.
