Simpsons Treehouse Of Horror favourites part 1

We love the Simpsons halloween specials, they're funny and scary at the same time. Here are some of our favourite segments:
  • Treehouse Of Horror 1

Our favourite segments from this one are "Bad dream house" and "the raven". Bad dream house is the one where the family moves into a house which turns out to be haunted. And the raven one is a retelling of the famous poem by Edgar Allen Poe. It's really funny when Bart as the raven says "Eat my shorts" before saying that famous line..."nevermore".

  • Treehouse Of Horror 2

We like all three segments from this one, but our favourites are It's A Bart Life and If Only I Had A Brain. The It's A Bart Life episode is a parody of the Twilight Zone episode It's A Good Life which was about a boy with supernatural powers. The If Only I Had A Brain one is a parody of Frankenstein.

  • Treehouse of Horror 3

Our favourite segments from this episode are Clown Without Pitty and Dial Z for Zombies. Clown Without Pitty is the one with the evil Krusty doll and Dial Z for Zombies is the one where Bart finds a book on the occult and brings the dead back to life. If you look very closely during the scene where Bart is reciting the incantation you'll see he's wearing Michael Jackson's Thriller album cover on his head.

  • Treehouse Of Horror 4

Our favourite segments from this one are The Devil and Homer Simpson and Bart Simpson's Dracula. In the first segment titled The Devil and Homer Simpson, Homer sells his soul to the devil (who looks like Ned Flanders) for a donut. In Bart Simpson's Dracula, Mr Burns is a vampire and he bites Bart and Bart becomes a vampire too. There's a twist at the end of this episode, turns out that Marge is the real head vampire and the whole family are vampires except Lisa. This is a homage to the ending of the vampire film Lost Boys.

  • Treehouse of Horror 5

Our favourite segments from this one are The Shinning and Nightmare Cafeteria. The Shinning is a parody of The Shining including the famous heere's johnny scene. Nightmare Cafeteria is where Bart and Lisa discover that the staff at Springfield Elementary have been eating some of the other students.

  • Treehouse of Horror 6

Our favourite segments from this one are Homer3 and Nightmare On Evergreen Terrace. Homer 3 is where Homer enters another dimension one where he is all 3d and "bulgy". Nightmare On Evergreen Terrace is a nightmare on elm street satire with Willie as Freddy Krueger.

  • Treehouse of horror 7

Our favourite segments from this one are Citizen Kang and The Thing and I. Citizen Kang is where Kang and Kodos take on the form of Bill Clinton and Bob Dole and enter the election. The Thing and I is where we discover Bart has a long lost twin brother named Hugo.

  • Treehouse Of Horror 8

Our favourite segments from this one are Fly Vs Fly and The Homega Man. Fly VS Fly is a satire of The Fly (both the original 1958 version and the David cronenberg remake) . And The Homega Man is a parody of the Omega man. In the scene where Homer is at the movie theatre, the movie that he's watching is one with a Chris Farley and David Spade in it (most likely Tommy Boy).

  • Treehouse of horror 9

The segments we like from this one are Hell Toupee and Starship Poopers. In Hell Toupe, Homer gets a hair transplant- although it turns out that it's Snake's hair and it posessess him. In Starship Poopers we find out Maggie's other dad is one of the two one-eyed aliens.
