Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This....Or Are they?

One of our favourite horror films growing up was the Nightmare On Elm Street movies. Freddy Krueger has to be the most entertaining horror villain there is. Plus he's also got to be one of the scariest. But what makes Freddy so terrifying? His dream based supernatural powers. He's a "dream" figure, he can do anything, he can morph into anything he chooses and he can do all sorts of evil things to those innocent teens- because he strikes in their dreams, and how can you resist sleep? Also he has a rather twisted sense of humour, he makes wisecracks at every chance he gets. He has a personality unlike most horror movie serial killers, Michael Myers from the Halloween movies never says anything, Leatherface grunts, and Jason Voorhees is completely silent. His other trademarks include his fedora, his severally burned skin, his clawed gloves, and his red and black striped sweater.

Our top ten favourite Freddy kills:

1. Johnny Depp's character gets eaten by a bed, bed sprays a geyser of blood.
2. Fitness girl gets turned into a cockroach, gets trapped in a roach motel and gets squished.
3. Nerdy Dungeons and Dragons kid gets stabbed in the heart.
4. Playboy dude Joey drowns in water. "How's this for a wet dream?"
5. One of the girls gets her face slammed into the tv.
6. Comic book reader kid gets sliced in half.
7. Gamer kid gets sucked into the game and destroyed by Freddy.
8. Asmatic kid gets her face sucked dry.
9. Junkie girl gets injected with a drug by Freddy and she dies.
10. Various kids including Rick are turned into humanhead meatballs and put on a pizza, Freddy then digs his claw into rick and eats him.

We've got a few other favourites too but these are the ones we like best.

Suprisingly Robert Englund is a lot different than Freddy is. He's actually quite a calm person. He looks pretty good without his freddy makeup on too.
