ayaotd episodes 2

Here are some more Are You Afraid Of The Dark:   New Blood episodes which i have just thought up,  most of them are inspired by dreams i've had.

The Tale Of The Shapeshifter Dance:

This is the tale of a young dancer named Eliza Van Ghoul,   she specializes in unique dances themed on transformation.     One night she is practicing her latest dance when she spots a raven,  she bases one of the moves on a raven taking flight and she turns into a raven and flies away -   when she lands back on the ground she turns back to herself -  but it seems that whatever creature she bases her moves on is the one that she turns into.


The Tale Of The Gremlins:

A boy gets his very own pet mogwai for his birthday but unfortunately he spends so much time playing with it that he forgets about the rules,   and that night while he is sleeping -  the mogwai and his "brothers"  sneak into the kitchen and raid the fridge and mutate into scary looking gremlins after eating after midnight.    The gremlins start wreaking havoc around town,   and the only thing that can stop them is another group of gremlins.     Starring Sarge,  Sparky,  Red and Fangsworth of my gremlin team.


The Tale Of The Rude Rats:

The Irvington family is one of the richest families in Europe but their relaxed lifestyle is ruined when a family of rude rats from Rattistan move in and decide to take residence in the attic.    Soon life becomes a struggle for dominance as the Irvington family tries numerous ways to shoo the rat family away but the rats outwit them.    Guest starring Ratty and his brothers and his sister as well as his cousins and his uncle,   also featuring Percy and Miranda.


The Tale Of The Na'vi Tutor:

A language tutor is asked to teach Na'vi language to a group of students but the problem is he hasn't got a clue on how to do it and he has only seen bits of Avatar but not the whole thing -    however a young na'vi woman shows up and teaches him the language,    later on he not only finds himself speaking Na'vi but also going Na'vi as well.


The Tale Of The Dropbears:

Based on the dropbear myth,   this tale tells the story of two rather dimwitted tourists who while on a tour in Australia -  are warned not to stray from the path in case a dropbear attacks them,  the two tourists refuse to heed the warning and stray away from the rest of the group and end up encountering an evil but charming dropbear leader.    Guest starring Bunyip's arch nemesis Morlock as the dropbear leader.


The Tale Of The Last Song:

An up and coming young singer has hopes of making it big but her dreams become shattered when a Simon Cowellish talent show judge gives her a bad review and disqualifies her from the competition. She thinks of numerous ways to try and impress him but to no avail,  as this talent show judge is more than just mean and brutally honest -  he's also bordering on evil status -  so much so that Ominious Latin chanting can be heard in the background whenever he is seen.    So in an attempt to try and impress him -  she has to perform one final song before time runs out.    Guest starring Nigel as the talent show judge.


The Tale Of The Brotherhood:

A young boy is saved from bullies by a werejoshpeck who then befriends him and asks him to join his little gang,     he accepts the offer and becomes a member of the gang,  but he soon finds himself turning into a werejoshpeck himself and has to keep it a secret from his friends.


The Tale Of The Vacation From Hell:

A wealthy socialite couple go on vacation to a luxury resort in Florida but along the way their car breaks down where they end up in Valkanvania where due to breaking one of the laws they are forced to spend a night in J.P's mansion -   they try to figure out a way to escape and they try calling the police but everyone is on J.P's side making their vacation a real nightmare.


The Tale Of The Aging Portrait

Inspired by Portrait Of Dorian Gray,   this story tells of an artist who never seems to age but his self portrait does,   he has to keep the portrait safe from anyone who tries to steal it as it is rather valuable.

The Tale Of Loki's  Mask

A comic book loving kid named Matthew stumbles upon an ancient viking mask while looking through his comic collection,   he tries the mask on and finds himself turning into a green skinned superbeing but soon the more wild side of this persona starts taking over and the only way to stop it is to try and remove the mask but it just won't come off.    Inspired by the Jim Carrey film the Mask and the Goosebumps episode The Haunted Mask.

The Tale Of The Grinchologist.

My homage to the 1986 remake of The Fly but with a twist,   an eccentric grinchologist who people keep claiming is an insane tries an experiment using a teleporter but his DNA ends up being fused with that of a grinch and he ends up slowly mutating into a human/grinch hybrid.


The Tale Of The Alien Virus

A young man gets infected with an alien virus while on a space mission and slowly starts turning into a Xenomorph-like alien monster.    The only way to cure him is to fight off the alien who gave him the virus in the first place.    Guest starring Gorvax of my attic monster gang as the xenomorph-like alien.

The Tale Of The Plant From Outer Space:

Inspired by Little Shop Of Horrors,   this is about a young man discovering a strange plant from outer space with an unusual appetite for humans,   he raises the plant and he becomes very popular and his plant becomes the most talked about thing in town -   however the plant is not satifisfied and goes looking for more people to eat -     and it's up to our hero to stop the plant.

The  Tale Of The Soul Box:

This one is done in Tim Burton style animation and tells the story of a misunderstood author who writes horror stories -   while looking through the memoirs of his lost love he discovers a small black box where souls of the lost and not-quite-departed are kept,    when he opens the box the soul of his lost love interest flies out and tells him that she must be reunited with her body before the midnight hour approaches.    Edgar and Lenore both star in this one.


The Tale Of The Forgotten Bear:

A Lotso-esque teddy bear by the name of  Erin has been the favorite childhood toy of young Lizzy Jones for many years.    But one day when Lizzy comes home frorm summer camp,   he is rather shock and horrified to discover that she has forgotten all about him and given all her attention to some other toys,   this pisses him off big time and starts getting revenge on the other toys and even on Lizzy's family.   In order to try and get him to stop Lizzy must come to her senses and appologize to him before it's too late.    Scare Bear of my closet monster gang stars as Erin.

The Tale Of The Malevolent Poltergeist:

Hank is an architect who moves in to a new home,   but what he doesn't know is that the house is also occupied by a mischievous,  malevolent poltergeist that just won't give up and wants to make his life a living hell.    Hank has to figure out a way to outwit the poltergeist before it is too late.

The Tale Of Fullmoonmaster

A young woman goes into the woods one dark night when she encounters Fullmoonmaster,  a mysterious being with supernatural powers,   fullmoonmaster is enraged and warns her that if she doesn't leave there will be consequences,   the woman doesn't listen to him so he puts a curse on her that transforms her into a large hulking moonbeast.    She has to make amends with him before it is too late.

The Tale Of  The Doombringer

A 52 year old millionaire is visited by a doombringer named Dave who tells him that something horrible is going to happen to one of his friends.     One of the man's friends starts experiencing lots of bad luck and soon becomes the victim of several supernatural goings on and it's up to his friend to save him.

The Tale Of Phantom Manor

This one is inspired by and based on the Phantom Manor ride at Disneyland Paris,   a group of people go on the ride but end up getting trapped in it after the park closes down for the night,    they have to find a way out before they end up as the newest additions.
