Eucalyptus

This is the koala we model the Millitary Koalas on. She is a ty beanie buddy and her name is Eucalpytus. The character of the Blondie koala is essentially based on her. You see, she is absolutely boy crazy and a bit of a ditz just like the Blondie koala from the show.

This is her in her classic pose.

  1. I have that same Beanie Buddy (and am holding my own modified Ty toy (known as "Little Andria", "Mini-Me" or "Andranstein") in my lap as I write this). Did your company ever make a mushabelly-style ladybug with a timer in its belly? I saw one at a thrift store (where I also saw a Doizee lunchbox, a Jay Leno Playtime Friend that had evidently been chewed on by a dog and a child carrying around what looked like one of your Military Koalas cuddle buddies, namely Madonna). Was it yours, and should I buy it?

  2. As a matter of fact we did...he was a mushabelly millenium bug by the name of Tick Tock. You should buy him. When you squeeze his stomach he sings the song Final Countdown by Europe.

  4. We've got a few holiday ones too. There's two ones we did for halloween- a werewolf one named Wolfie he howls when you squeeze his stomach and a devil one that laughs manically when you squeeze his stomach. For christmas there's a Grinch one we did (made to look like Jim Carrey's version from the movie) that sings It's Not Easy Being Green and 3 Christmas Carol ghost ones (The Ghosts Of Christmas Past, Present, and Future) that make a ghostly wail when you squeeze their stomaches. There's also an ogre one that's made to look like Shrek, it belches when you squeeze it's stomach. Also for Elvis Week we have an Elvis one that sings Suspicous Minds and says "Thank you, thank you, thank you very much" and "Uh huh huh!" when you squeeze his stomach.

  5. I went back and bought Tick Tock, as well as the Doizee lunchbox, and an imitation Audrey II plant that the shopkeeper claimed was "just" an ornamental fake plant and a Brain-Eating Rock that he used as a paperweight, totally oblivious to their rarity and having "(C) Doc M Productions, Made In U.S.A." on them. They are on the same shelf as Little Andria and my Jay Leno Playtime Friend. Where do I get Audrey II seeds, by the way?

  6. The Audrey II seeds are part of the Grow Your Own Audrey II kit. They can last for a really long time and all they require is water, love, soil, and fake blood.
