The eyes have it

I've always been impressed by the makeup and special effects in some of my favourite fantasy, sci fi or horror movies especially by the work of Rick Baker, Stan Winston and Tom Savini.

Now I always find the "glowing eyes" effect in any horror, fantasy or sci fi film to be awesome behind all reason. My personal favourite use for it has to be in Big Wolf On Campus whenever it looks like Tommy Dawkins is about to "wolf out".

The eyes are like windows to the soul, you can tell a lot about a person just by looking in their eyes.

Red eyes = vampire or demon.

Red eyes with slits = dragon.

Yellow eyes = wolf.

Yellow eyes with slits = feline.

Yellow eyes with dark green pupils = Grinch.

Turquoise blue eyes with no pupils = Blarg (like Drek from Ratchet and Clank)

White or deathly black = zombie or deadite.

Glowing white eyes = gargoyle.

Glowing dark green eyes = Hulk/SheHulk.

Dollar signs = Thinking of money.

Skulls = A harbinger of things to come (like Gaston falling to his death at the end of Beauty and the beast)

Big yellow eyes = Na'vi.
