Kid at heart

A lot of people seem to think i'm creepy just because I like children's tv shows and movies, but in actuality there is nothing creepy about it.

There are a LOT of cartoons that both parents and children adore - both old and new. Like Spongebob for example, I mean the president of the United States loves it.

You can never be too old for cartoons and other kid shows especially old school ones from the 70's, 80's, and 90's. Was there a show you were hooked on as a kid? If so what show was that and what was it about that show that got you interested in it?

I myself enjoy quite a lot of superhero shows, like Power Rangers, Beetleborgs, Masked Rider, Mystic Knights, Batman: The Animated Series and the 90's Spiderman cartoon. I also like shows about monsters and scary things like Goosebumps, Tales From The Darkside, Tales From The Crypt, So Weird, And Are You Afraid Of The Dark.

Of course a lot of people enjoy classic disney films and shows especially ones like Tail Spin or my personal favourite - Gargoyles.

And also more than a few people like the work of director Don Bluth, especially the films Titan A.E, Anastasia, The Pebble And The Penguin and the underated classic Rock-A-Doodle (that Grand Duke is one great villain)

The work of the late Jim Henson still continues to inspire and a lot of people still like the Muppets and Fraggle Rock as well as Labyrinth (including a certain group of fans who are all about David Bowie's pants), Dark Crystal, and Dinosaurs.

Also you can not go wrong with Aardman, their animations are simply marvelous - especially their animated shorts, Wallace and Gromit, and their feature films including Flushed Away, Curse Of The Wererabbit and of course Chicken Run.

If only there were shows like Moppatop's Shop around today.
